Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Harbert Road/Chickaming Nature Preserve. This medium sized Tupperware container will hold your attention. This nicely mowed trail will take you to the beginning of the preserve. There is no heavy duty bushwhacking required, but you have permission to walk off the trail to retrieve this cache.


The preserve is only open during daylight hours.

The total hike to complete all 4 caches is over 1 mile on a maintained grass/wood chip trail. The trails will become muddy after rainfalls and in spring.

Take time to enjoy the numerous hiking trails and the 3 other caches, Snowshoe Surprise, Mighty Oak, and Four Est of Pines, in the preserve. Thank you to the Chikaming Township Park Board for their cooperation in allowing caches to be present in the preserve. Please remember to stay on the trails until you are within 10 feet of the cache and replace the cache to its original camouflaged location.
