Stone Ruination #16--The Fall of Romo Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Night Hunter: So many of these remote caches are just becoming ruins themselves. I won't be in the area for a very long time.

Geocache Description:

16th in a series of caches that will feature stone structures in various states of ruination.

Not much left here except for a few stone walls. With a little bit of exploring in the area, you may find the flume. This is the same flume that Chuy's Walk the Plank and Indiana Ed's two underground caches are in.

I do not recommend turning left from Romo Road onto Highway 94. My suggestion is to head east and find more caches out that way. If you must head back west after finding this cache, please turn right into the shoulder, drive eastbound for about 100 feet, and then you can see over the rise and safely make a U-turn (remember to look behind you too). I have dealt with more than one accident in this exact location!!!Also not recommended as a Night Hunt as it will attract the attention of alert neighbors and the Border Control.

Well, I am done with caches out in this area for awhile, so come out and get them. Thanks everybody for coming out and visiting this beautiful part of San Diego County.
