The cache bridges a gap towards the north end of Kit Carson Park. We've been trying to get this one published since last June when we used it while teaching a class in Geocaching for the "College for Kids" summercamp at Palomar College. When Lorenzo's Gold dropped off the map we resubmitted and here it is. Go for a little walk and snoop around a bit. No need to get wet. Log only, bring a pen or pencil.
Update (May '10): There is now a frisbee golf course overlayed throughout the public areas of Kit Carson Park. The basket for Hole 12 is near the left side green area of the photo above. So do use some caution; people minding their own business, including students from the nearby school, have been hit. Maybe the difficulty should be increased due to this new hazard?
