Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.
If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC1DD6W for this cache).
Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches

Lee Point Resort is a caravan park located near the end of Lee Point Road, within easy walking distance of about seven a dozen different caches.
A lot of people staying at Lee Point Resort take a daily walk down to Lee Point and back. This cache has been placed to encourage a different walk - around Lee Point Resort. One caution though - when you reach the NorthEast corner of the caravan park, DO NOT head West along the fence. You need to continue along the track to the gate and return along Buffalo Creek Road (past GC1BBGC Polar Attraction by caffiend42). When I moved the cache I forgot about the triangle of land enclosed by fences on two sides,
and found myself fenced in about 20 metres from Lee Point Road.
I had to backtrack all the way to the gate.
It might even encourage apparently did encourage the replacement of the long-time disabled cache GC17J81 It's only a Confrontation by gibbo003, which I walked within 50 metres of when placing the cache.
The cache has been relocated to a spot beside a lovely little pond frequented by large numbers of birds - a real "twitcher's delight".
The cache is a drab camo'd 200mm high 90mm diameter plastic screw top container, placed inside an upside down open ended drab camo'd 1.5 kg Milo tin, and covered by numerous rocks to protect the plastic container from fire. The Milo tin is provided to protect the plastic container from being crushed by the rocks, and MUST be replaced open end down.
As the original container was provided by gibbo003 for placement "closer to Darwin" gibbo003 has agreed to be co-maintainer for this cache.
