Small lock top box hidden along the canal - mostly paved but you do need to climb over a stile. Watch out for thorns!
Reaching the canal there is usually mallard ducks and moorhens to be seen and swans are common. The hedge alongside the canal is a good nesting site for robins, blue tits, great tits. The canal is home to many fish, and angling is a popular sport along stretches of the canal away from the locks. Some of the fish that are found in the canal are roach, perch, carp, gudgeon, pike and eels.
You can find parking but it costs £1.50 at the long stay park and £2.00 for 4 hours at the short stay parking.
Again this cache has slightly iffy cords due to tree coverage - along with the clue and cords you should be fine :) this area can be busy in good weather so please use stealth and place cache back so no one else can see it.
PLEASE if you take children be very vigilant as the water is very easy to fall into!
No locks to pick no questions to solve. As with most of my caches its a simple trad that takes you hopefully to a place you havent been before where you can see intresting things/places.
This cache has disapeared once. I replaced it on the 24 July 2008 I would suggest you dont put tbs in it for the time being. Please replace it as found so its well hidden!
