Geocache Description:

Burscough to Tarleton Canal is a branch of the Leeds Liverpool canal and was to be closed by the British Waterways. However, British opinion was so great they made the Ribble Link, thus linking Lancaster and Leeds / Liverpool canals at Preston.

This cache is approximately 6-8 yards from the towpath and GPS coverage wasn't good. Will try and go back in winter when there is less cover.
