Geocache Description:

Burscough to Scarisbrick Canal is a branch of the Leeds Liverpool canal. If you turn right at the Blood Tub, you can continue your journey along the canal for another 4ml approx and enjoy another great walk. There are lots of pubs and eating houses along the way.

The Slipway pub across the road is a nice place to eat with lots of seating outside in the summer. Watch for the nettles.
