The Boathouse Traditional Cache
Sausey: July 4th weather and waves destroyed the cache... The owner of the property recommended that I archive it, sorry. I hope everyone enjoyed it while it lasted =)

I did not take into account the opening time of the dock. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that may have created.
This cache is open from 12 noon until 11PM or so (if coming by car).
If you come by boat, this cache is always available.

When driving down the hill,
*****if the gate-man is there, just say that you are going to THE BOATHOUSE RESTAURANT***** He will let you through down to the restaurant parking lot, which is near the cache location. The title of the cache is the name of the restaurant: The Boathouse Restaurant.

there is a very large parking lot down there, and many people that eat at the restaurant walk around on the docks to take in the view of the lake. THIS IS A PUBLIC RESTAURANT, and the restaurant patrons often arrive at the restaurant by boat and tie up at the docks. I know this as I am the dock attendant. I repeat, management DOES ALLOW the restaurant patrons on the docks!
The best way to get to the cache location is to follow the right (south) side of the boathouse around onto the docks.
This cache has a beautiful view of Lake George. Make sure the cache is replaced exactly as found, so that it doesn't become lost. Bring a camera and get some great pictures of your group and the lake!
