Keeping exercise and fitness and caching still in mind, keep walking down the rail trail for a distance of 1.95 miles. Park at the Bowman area on Route 2, N 44 21.455 W 071 20.652, walk eastward on the "Rail Trail". Enjoy the scenery and nature all around. Especially enjoy the sounds of the flowing water. You will pass another themed cache along the way. Plan to grab it too.
This is another of my themed first caches. The sound of running water makes me thing about fishing, so, this cache has a fishing theme to it. If it is possible, bring something related to fishing to exchange and if not, still take an item and leave your exchange, enjoy! The cache is a plastic snap and lock container. There is an assortment of items used for fishing and fly fishing too. For the FTF there is a card and lucky NH quarter.
Another possible route can be to enter at the Lowe's Path trailhead N 44 21.823 W 071 19.833. You have to park at Lowe's store and parking is available for a small fee. Follow the path for 0.12 miles and turn left onto the rail trail.
