A short float down the John Day River from the Service Creek put in! And a short hike up the hill from the first nights camp site!
Kayaking the John Day River for 5 days with friends. Climbed the hill behind the first nights camp to hide a new cache at the crest of the hill and to watch the sunset over the canyon. The trip and all the sunsets were totally awesome. Unfortunately while I was kayaking the John Day our little ferret Nola at home died in her sleep of old age. So this cache and the beautiful location its hidden at are dedicated to little Nola!
