Geocache Description:

Cache is a nano. Please bring a pen to sign the log.
Please make sure you replace the cache back the way you found it to keep it well camoflaged.

Fisherman's Wharf is just a lovely place to sit and enjoy an ice cream and watch the ferries and the planes come and go on the lough. You can see across to Holywood and Bangor, and can just about see the Copeland Islands. The view back to the castle is fantastic, especially when the lights come on in the evening. To the left is Kilroot Power Station and the long pier where the fuel is offloaded.

This area can be a bit wild, especially in the winter months. The seaspray is a continual nuisance to the paper log. If it needs one and you have the means to do so, please feel free to replace the log so you can sign your name or please let us know and we will do the needful.

Limited parking available at the wharf, just off the Marine Highway.

The water can be deep at high tide so please take care of your little ones!!

Watch out for fishermen and other ice cream eaters!!!
