Geocache Description:

** NOT at the listed coordinates **

It seemed like a day to do something "different" so I decided get in the van and drive. The trip started on US 10, heading to Little Falls. I wanted to see the home where Charles Lindbergh, Jr. spent his childhood summers. Then I headed west on Minnesota 27 to Long Prairie. In Long Prairie I noticed I was VERY close to a confluence, so that became a "goal" for the day. I went NW on Todd County Rd 38, then south and west on gravel roads to within ½ mile of the point. I had trouble getting a good read along this road. Even a few trees seemed to block out the signal.

I finally settled on a farmhouse driveway heading south. There were no "No Trespassing" signs, but I avoid any kind of confrontation with property owners. Bummed that I couldn't get closer, but still having a good day, I decided to see if I could get something to eat in nearby Clotho.

I love small towns. The only place with the town's name was at the United Methodist Church. After a couple photos, I was curious about the commotion in the parking lot. Garage sale? Better than that! The annual fund raiser community feed. Just what I was looking for. Not a big selection, but the price made me wonder if I'd entered the Twilight Zone? I passed on the corn but selected a bottle of Nehi (Orange) for $0.01 and the all-you-can-eat Wings for $1.20

After a quick lunch, I left town minus a total of $1.21 and decided that was a great adventure. Time to head home ...
