Hiking out here allows me the opportunity to enjoy many JD tunes including Farewell Andromeda by John Denver Welcome to my morning Welcome to my day I’m the one responsible I made it just this way To make myself some pictures See what they might bring I think I made it perfectly I wouldn’t change a thing Welcome to my happiness You know it makes me smile And it pleases me to have you here For just a little while This cache joins several others on the property, maintained by Cobb County Parks and Recreation, including Navistar and Bookie’s DF Creekside Trail (GCPEZ1), DF Back Meadow Trail (GCPEYW), and Durham-Frey Allatoona Path (GCPEYR) as well as Georgiacowboy’s Cumorah (CG13745), Jambhu’s El Condor Pasa (GCZ47F), Sweet Surrender (GC18AZ5) and Looking for Space (GC18AYT). Parking at Frey Elementary is not accessible from 7:30AM-3:00PM on school days. Weekends and non-school days are ideal. Also know that one of the primary purposes of this isolated property is hunting. During September, October, and January, bow hunting is permitted from sunrise to 10 AM. During November and December, bow hunting is permitted from sunrise to sunset and therefore, I’d say the caches are off-limits I hope that you enjoy your time on the hike and reflect upon the wonderful world that we have to enjoy. Today’s cache is placed on my 23rd wedding anniversary which finds my devoted husband heading off to Boy Scout camp with our sons 8/31/25 Please place log back in baggie and seal baggie. Then, place lid on container and camo with pine straw and leaves to maintain hide. Congratulations to FTF and FTS NAVISTAR!!!
