Located in Ferndale Washington, the brand new Centennial Riverwalk Park overlooks the Nooksack River. Three totem poles carved by the House of Tears Carvers from the Lummi Nation tell stories of the Nooksack River. Along the walkway, interpretive signs explain facts about the Nooksack River, the riparian ecosystem, life cycles of the salmon, and the Pacific salmon species. There are park benches and picnic tables, as well as a fountain near Main Street.
