Sunset Mountain Lookout was built in 1958 and is staffed every
summer. It is located at an elevation of 7869 feet. The road
leading to the lookout begins at Mores Creek Summit on Highway 21
just a few miles north of Idaho City.
FTF Prize: Although it was not intentional, the first finder may
find themselves the proud owner of a slightly used, almost new pair
of leather gloves!
