This is on the Happy Valley State owned lands. You are required to have a Montana Conservation license to recreate on this land. They cost 4 dollars I think.
The area is located right off HWY. 93 just north of the landfill. The road is called Bowdish RD. You will only need to drive about half a mile to get to the parking area located just off to your left. The trails are all good leading to the caches. Not any real big hills to climb either. The total distance of the hike will be about 3 miles, maybe a little more.
So athletic ability might be needed for this one.
1st stage is a 3 inch by 1 inch cylindar tube with coordinates for 2nd stage. It is painted green to help blend in with enviroment.
2nd stage is a waterproof match stick container. It is painted brown to help blend in to enviroment.
Cache is lock n lock container. It is also painted brown.
Hunters do use these lands for hunting, so I would wear orange during hunting season.
Happy geocaching!
