Located along a beautiful country avenue.
This is a very quick easy drive by however trees may cause a few difficulties with GPS readings.
It would be an excellent spot to pull over and have a cuppa on a beautiful day. Winter time it will be cold.
This beautiful avenue was planted in the late 1860's by seed. Many wedding photos are taken on this avenue.
The trees were planted by the Thomas family who came from Ystalyfera in Wales and settled in this valley. They were original farmers of the area supplying fodder for the Burra mine. This land was one of the first surveys done in the north of South Australia being part of the Gawler land survey in March 1842.
