Geocache Description:




Coach Joe Rogers was a dedicated cyclist and runner. He continued those two activities well into his 70s. Unfortunately, Joe died in a bicycle accident in 2007 while crossing SR28 riding the Cardinal Greenway. An engraved boulder was placed at this crossing as a memorial to him.

This geocache is dedicated in memory of Joe and is hidden a little south of the memorial boulder. Ride a bike there in his honor or park on county road 400W just south of where it crosses the greenway. The cache hiding area may be muddy after a heavy rain. Please return the cache exactly as found. The Cardinal Greenway is dawn to dusk.
