Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 26th cache by "Keeper of Time".

Important Note - 26/05/2010

I have changed the size of this cache to an ammo can with a 2 litre sistema in it. This cache had been unloved for over 12 months now, if there is anyone who wants to find the cache but does not know how to solve the puzzle, just email me I will gladly give you the coordinates of GZ

A Season is defined as one of the major divisions of the year, generally based on the yearly periodic changes in weather. Seasons happen due to the yearly revolution of the Earth around the Sun and the tilt of the Earth’s axis relative to the plane of revolution. However, round these parts a season is something that can be a part of a day and some days can contain many seasons in fact you can easily get “Four Seasons in one Day”.

You might want to listen to this song by Crowded House while pondering the puzzle below.

The coordinates above is where you can park you car. At Firth Park (100 ha) you will find fireplaces, toilets and picnic tables. It is near several former sawmills, one of which is accessed via a walking track. The block was selected by Joseph Firth in 1881 and was used for eucalyptus distilling and planted with exotic trees which still grow here. In the 1870’s, Joseph was head gardener at Government Cottage Mt Macedon, he was also superintendent of the state nursery for 40 years and promulgated the formation of a district horticultural society. If you look around here you will also find an old horse-drawn timber tram, the wheels of which were used on Joseph’s son Edward Firth’s Nolan Creek tramway.

As this cache is a 2 litre (changed from a 15 litre bucket) crammed full of goodies we though that we would make this one a bit harder than our previous caches. Some people may find the puzzle below easy others will find it hard, either way the real key to the puzzle is within geocaching itself.

The cache is a 2 litre (changed from a 15 litre bucket) hidden just off the Anderson Mill Track. Please ensure that it is well hidden before you leave and make sure the tight fitting lid is fully pressed down all round. I would ask that you help maintain the standard of the cache by placing quality swaps only and as always be mindful of the local wildlife both good and bad.

I have added an evince link below so that you can check you have the correct GZ, although I must be honest, if you use it you are doing something wrong.
