Geocache Description:

A traditional cache hidden near to the commercial heart of Dubai.

Near to the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Sheikh Zayed road is a little known wooded area in the heart of the Za'abeel district. Although ongoing construction work is nibbling at its edges, and leaving its mark in the form of litter, there is still enough to merit a quick visit. Let yourself be surprised by the Ghaf forest of Dubai!

The cache consists of the standard lock&lock lunchbox-sized container wrapped in a beige camouflage bag. Next to a logbook and pencil it contains the usual selection of geoswag. If you are coming by car, park at the coordinates below. There you will find a gap in the hedge that lines the access road, providing you easy access to GZ; although alternative approach routes are also possible. Please be aware of construction workers resting in the shade of the trees in the vicinity. Such muggles are always drawn to such unusual areas which appear to be of interest to people who clearly do not "belong" there.
