Geocache Description:

The Cache:

This cache is located in Winston Woods Park in Oakville - a nice little wooded area with a winding trail smack in the middle of the commercial / industrial area encircled by Bristol Circle.  Easy access from Hwy 403, Dundas/#5 & Winston Churchill Blvd.  I have several clients in this area; I've driven past this park numerous times, and seen it on the map and never knew if it was public or private land.  Lo and behold, it's a City of Oakville Park.....

This park has several entrances to the trails on each side.  The trailhead co-ords are also the co-ords for the parking lot.  Access the parking lot from Winston Park Road - you may be able to park on the side of one of the streets surrounding the park, but you may be taking a chance - You're better off parking in the lot (as that is also the quickest access to the cache).

There is a sign in the parking lot that indicates that the park is “not maintained – closed for winter”, so I’m not sure about winter parking, but I’m sure the trails will be accessible year ‘round.  The cache should be winter-friendly; the container itself will likely get buried in snow, but the discerning feature on the hiding spot should be visible in at least 2’ of snow.

The Puzzle:

Look at the pictures below - I'm sure you know at least SOME of these people.  Some may be a bit more obscure.

ALL of these people have something in common.  Figure out who they are and what the connecting factor is, and the numbers should fall into place.

Each picture will provide you with a 2 digit number (2 of the pics have additional clues to help get to the correct number - the other 6 don't need them) - put all of the numbers together and discard the final zero.

N:

                                    Additional hint:

                                    “This one – 50”

W:

Additional hint:

“Her FIRST one”

With the correct co-ords, it should be an easy find.  It's a short hike, and the container is hidden a short distance off the trail.

The cache is covered in camo tape & contains standard swag (some for kids, some for adults), and a badge of honour for the FTF.

There's no theme to adhere to, so trade away.

If you need a hint, feel free to send me a message.
Enjoy!
