Geocache Description:

**************** FLOOD GATE Cache ****************

Part of the Newlands Reclamation Project which is operated by the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District. Amazing how there is water going through the desert all over the place! I took a 30 mile mountain bike ride after work today and at one point I noticed a junction of a couple of waterways. While I was there a couple of toads jumped in the water and I heard one croaking on the other side of the highway. The farm fields South and East for a long way were flooded with the water from this channel. It seemed to need a cache. Cammoed tupperware with swag and an unactivated coin for FTF.
