The Bedlam Cube


The Bedlam cube is a solid dissection puzzle invented by Bruce Bedlam. The puzzle consists of thirteen polycubic pieces: twelve pentacubes and one tetracube. The objective is to assemble these pieces into a 4 x 4 x 4 cube. Although this puzzle has an enormous number of solutions, it's a hell of a job to find one!! This picture shows all the 13 pieces and below you see 4 sides of a solution I've found myself after hours of stressful puzzling.


Steps to find the cords of this cache:
  • Reconstruct my solution completely.
  • Download the solver. This solver computes all solutions within approximately 10 minutes.
  • Determine, according to the solver, the number of the solution I've found.
  • Multiply this number by the total number of solutions found by the solver.
  • Last six digits = ABCDEF
  • Location cache: N 51°21.ABC' E 006°05.DEF'
