Cache is in an ammo box a short (.7 miles) walk/ride on the Leppy Trails. (Wendover Trail System)
Although not on the map, the Leppy Trails (Wendover Trail System) was developed by the state of Nevada as an exercise venue for exercie enthusiasts. It has 3 loops in which to walk or ride. A short half mile loop, a 2 mile loop, and a 5 mile loop. The cache is located about .7 miles along this system.
Motorized vehicles are NOT ALLOWED on the trails!!!! A mountain bike is fine, but it's a great walk. Just turn north from Wendover Blvd at the Peppermill Casino, continue on this road past the freeway and just follow the signs.
This is the desert people.....make sure you bring along extra water and be sure to dress for the ever changing weather....
