This is the 16th in a series intended to introduce you to the many Urban Trails we have here in Colorado Springs.
This trail is in the northeast part of Colorado Springs and runs from Briargate Blvd to Research Pkwy. This trail is 2.9 miles one way, paved. It will eventually connect to the East Woodmen Trail on the south. It is a gentle neighborhood trail that meanders north and south through the Briargate subdivision. The majority of the trail is paved and good for bicycling, skating and walking. Although paved, I would not recommended it for wheelchairs due to steep grades. There are many small feeder trails coming out of the residential areas. A short spur connects you to Rampart Park, which, besides the normal park equipment, has an off-leash dog area.
Congratulations to goose'n'pepper & Cataclysmcow for their FTF.
