Located off highway 28 on the Limestone Mountain Road past the Wild Iris Climbing area parking lot.
Wonderful view of the Wild Iris climbing area & the Wind River Mountains. This is a tribute cache in honor of Bob who has traveled this road in all seasons. Bob has worked for CWC at Wyoming Public Television for over 25 years. He was here for the original buildout & the continuing changes over the years of the KCWC-TV & KCWC-FM transmitter site & tower on up the road. This is a favorite view of Bob’s & he placed the cache. This cache will not be winter accessible without a snowcat, snowmobile, snowshoes or skis.
For those of you in cars & mini vans, the road to the cache site is generally no worse than where you turn off highway 28 on the Limestone Mountain Road. Note: If you are planning on finding the Limestone Mountain cache which is just past the KCWC tower, the last ¼ mile to the next cache is rough & rocky. It would be best to park past the corner & look at the view walking back to the cache a very short distance even though this road doesn't get much traffic except during hunting season.
Congratulations to Sokratz, Grandpa, UncleM, & EagleEyeMN on the FTF! I was beginning to wonder if this one was going to take as long as Wyoming Cowboy to get found.
