This is a nice easy walk on a trail that is cut through the brush and well maintained. It is very kid friendly.
The cache includes many things for kids and adults as well. There was no poison ivy or other types of kid dangers at the time it was placed, but always keep your eyes open. Parking is located nearbye at the information center for the park and is easy to spot from the road. This area also has a long hard packed trail along the canal that you can walk and also has picnic tables if you wish to make a day of it.
Also, please remember that state parks allow hunting except on Sundays. Thus, wearing blaze orange is always a good idea when caching.
