Geocache Description:

Bring a camera, the view is iconic. The cache should be a quick park-and-grab, but be careful of all the muggles! You're looking for an ammo can. 2010-05-21: The ammo can has now been replaced by a camo'd lock-and-lock. This cache may be inaccessible December through April, depending on the snow situation.

On the road to 'Cypress Mountain' (although Cypress Mountain isn't in this park) the cache is at a look off that has an amazing view of Greater Vancouver and up the Fraser Valley in one direction, and Vancouver Island in the other.

Cypress Mountain is home to the 2010 Olympics Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard venues. During the winter, Cypress Mountain is available for all sorts of winter activities ... skiing (alpine and nordic), snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing, and so on. In the summer, there are tonnes of trails for hiking, the mountains are there for the climbing, and there is plenty of cycling: both hill training and mountain biking.

Cypress Bowl is the harder trailhead for the long hike to The Lions as well as a number of shorter, easier hikes. Check out nearby caches in the park:

Original cache contents include a number of Podcacher.com audio CDs, some 'City of Vancouver' reflective pant straps, a Canadian Forces Navy sticker, and some Team LCF pins. FTF prize is a $20 Starbucks Gift Card (unregistered)
