Another in a series of numbers and names of current or future Hockey Hall of Famers. Maurice "Rocket" Richard played for the Montreal Canadiens from 1942 to 1960. He was the first player in NHL history to score 50 goals in 50 games and the first to score 500 career goals. He finished his career with 544 goals in the regular season, with 82 in the playoffs which included a record six overtime winners (second all-time), and also recorded 421 assists for a total of 965 points in 978 games. The Rocket played on eight Stanley Cup teams in Montreal and played in every NHL All-Star Game from 1947 to 1959. Richard was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961, after the customary three-year waiting period was waived in his honor. The Rocket succumbed to cancer on May 27, 2000. He was given a state funeral in Canada that was broadcast across the country - the first time such an honor was accorded an athlete.
You're looking for an ammo box with all sorts of goodies, including some extra Bonne Bell products that my geocaching partner daughter was "convinced" to part with. Plenty of room for TBs, GCs and other trades.
This cache is off a new industrial park in RICHfield that appears to be suffering from the economic downturn. The cache is about 3 miles South of the I-77 and I-80 (Ohio Turnpike) interchange and less than a mile North of the I-77 and I-271 interchange. Because of the trees, use your geosense when you're within 30 feet.
FTF picks up a mini wireless USB mouse.
Congrats to TJPJ for the FTF on 7/2/08 at 1:36 P.M..
