Geocache Description:

The cache is near a monument dedicated to the Careys ,Kennards and the other pioneers. It is 1.9 kms down Beach st.

This cache is placed near the beach where the first European settlers of otago settled. These people were my ancestors and arrived in 1840 on a boat called the "Magnet". It is a micro with a green/black lid. This cache is by a nice beach.
Stealth may be required as the house over the road has a birdseye view.
