Geocache Description:

The Malachi Gilmore Hall, built in 1937, is one of a number of Heritage buildings in Oberon. It’s named after the Irish immigrant who was the original owner and donator of the land upon which the hall stands. It is also one of the few surviving architecturally significant buildings of this period in Australia.

In its history this building has been used as a ballroom, a cinema, a skating rink and is currently a wool store at the rear and the front is a craft shop.

Reception was a bit weak at the time of placing the cache but with the limited hiding spots it should be too difficult. Take note of the surveillance cameras on the street light posts, as big brother might be watching.

The cache is not inside the building and is log only. Please bring you own writing implement.
