Itse kätkörasia on litran lock 'n lock purkki, johon
reilummatkin reissaajat mahtuvat mainiosti. Kätkö on havaittavissa
paljain silmin (riippuen tietysti siitä miten edellinen kävijä sen
on jättänyt). Kätkölle päästäksesi et tarvitse venettä tahi muuta
vesikulkuneuvoa. Kätkölle pääsy helpottuu, jos et ole sokerista ja
pystyt kahlaamaan tai uimaan muutaman metrin. Muutoin pitää könytä
hieman enemmän, mutta mistään vaikeasta tai hurjan vaarallisesta
kiipeilystä ei ole kyse. Pieni köydenpätkä voi silti olla avuksi ja
turvaksi viimemetreillä. Kaikesta huolimatta muista aina liikkua
kallioilla varovasti.
Your task as a geocacher is to find the cache that is hidden to the
coordinates: N ??° ??.?37 E ??° ??.?11. You must figure out the
degrees, minutes, and the tenths of the minutes yourself by using
the map below. The map is hand drawn to avoid any copyright
infringements, but it should be accurate enough for you to compare
it to real maps. Note that the given bogus coordinates don't
comply to the usual 2 mile rule i.e. the cache can be right next to
the given coordinates or over ten kilometers away from them. To set
some decent limits on the map search, you can assume that the cache
is somewhere inside the borders of the municipality of
Lappeenranta.
The cache container is a one liter lock 'n lock box with plenty
of room for travellers. The cache should be almost visible to the
naked eye when you get close enough, depending on how it was left
there by the last seeker. You won't need a boat to get to the
cache. Although if you're not made of sugar and are capable of
wading or swimming a bit, getting the cache will be significantly
easier. Otherwise you have to climb and crawl a bit, but nothing
too difficult or dangerous. A piece of rope is not a bad idea to
help during the last few meters. Please remember to always be
carefull when walking on the cliff.
