This Cache is designed for the quick drop off and pick up of TRACKABLE ITEMS such as TRAVEL BUGS and GEOCOINS. No other swaps please.
Welcome to the Barossa Valley Travel Bug Transit Lounge.
This Transit Lounge is conveniently located near the intersection of the Sturt Highway and the Barossa Valley Highway on the outskirts of Nuriootpa. Lots of interstate traffic goes past this cache. From this point your trackable item may travel through the famous Barossa Valley, down to Adelaide, up to the Riverland or even across to Sydney or Brisbane.
When nearing Ground Zero please take care. This is a busy highway. Team Ransid recommends that you carefully park your vehicle on the side road named 'STURT ROAD' and proceed to GZ from there.
When you discover the Transit Lounge please take care not to vandalise the soft furnishings in the lounge. Please keep your feet off the pillows. NB: All pillows remain the property of the transit lounge and are provided for the comfort of your trackable items. Your cooperation will ensure that this Transit Lounge remains a '5 star' lounge that every Travel Bug and Geocoin will want to rest in for a short time while on it's journey around the world.
You can take as many trackable items from the Travel Bug Transit Lounge as you like but please make sure there is ATLEAST one trackable item in the cache for the next person who finds the travel bug transit lounge. Please move the travel bugs and geocoins that you take to another cache ASAP.
When selecting trackable items from the Transit Lounge please make every effort to take those items that have been sitting in the lounge the longest.
Please make sure you log your visit in the log book provided and especially at www.geocaching.com.
When loging your visit on the computer. Please remember to highlight the trackable item/s you placed or taken.
