Postpile: Removed the final cache and all stages today, unfortunately just before WW.Wilma had gotten to it. Crossed paths with her between stages 3 and 4 as we were paddling in opposite directions. Stage 1 was missing again. Placed some new caches along the river.....

Geocache Description:

A canoe or kayak multi cache along the Hillsborough River between Sargeant Park and Morris Bridge Park. Chapter 1…..The Lost Trail is a land route from Morris Bridge to Sargeant Park. This is the return trip via the river.

Cache route is along a relatively short stretch of the river (about 4 miles). Private canoes, kayaks and rental canoes frequent this enjoyable section of the river, therefore, please watch for muggle activity while searching in order to protect the intermediate stages and final cache. Stages 1, 2 and 3 are on the left bank. Stage 4 and the final are on the right bank. Please be sure to clip the final back on to its wire holder to keep it above rising water. When the water level at Morris Bridge is over 29 feet, Stage 4 goes under water and may be impossible to find. Check current gage heights here.

All stages are located under heavy tree canopy; therefore do not expect the coordinates to be extremely accurate. You will need to exit your canoe or kayak to retrieve all stages including the final cache. The first to find goes to m^3.
