A tribute to the old Brown Road bridge
Here are a few photos of the bridge that was originally on this
site. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any historical
information about it. It was replaced in 2000 with the concrete
span you see today. Although the new bridge is functionally
superior, it lacks the charm of the original.
The cache is a 2-quart Lock-n-Lock containing a variety of fun
items, the photos you see on this page, and the usual log book and
pencil
The cache is not down by the river bed. There are a couple of
fairly obvious locations. Nothing tricky about this hide... It's
just enough so that non-cachers will not see it.
