Heading north, just before you reach the stairs there are several large overhanging rocks and boulders. Go through the crack to the right and climb up. Cache is under a rock (and under a overhang) when you reach the top - there is no GPS signal where the cache is.
The 1st Cedar Hill Cubs found this location during our hike around the island (in 2008) and loved it. They had tried geocaching earlier in the day and really enjoyed it, so decided to hide their own cache, containing badges and pins. While hiking north on the trail, just before the stairs there is a crack in the rock to the right. Enter the crack and work your way upwards though a talus cave/overhang.(the kids will love doing this, our 7-9 year olds did!). There are lots of other large boulders to play around - kind of like giant marbles. GPS reception is non-existent where the actual cache is located. This is our first attempt at creating a cache - hope it's fun!
