As we drove into the little town of Sunlands I saw a sign that pointed towards a lookout. We took the gravel road and ended up at a monument and a structure that leads you up a flight of stairs and presents you with a beautiful view over the valley.
The history: To guarentee the future preservation of this magnificent view, Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, well-known writer of "Jock of the bushveld", bought this ground and built this lookout. He and his wife are buried here.
We decided to share this with geocachers passing through this area!
The coordinates might be a bit misleading, so if you don't find it, read the clue! It has a rating of 2.5 for this reason, but I'm sure it'll be found with ease!
Cache is a smallish pill bottle with logbook and pencil. It also contains a few SA Flags!
