Geocache Description:

***Cache has been moved to a more suitable location due to the deterioration of some of the equipment***

Simple park-and-grab located off the main road in Kahuku, to easy. BYOP.

This is the site of the old Kahuku Sugar Mill which was closed down in 1971. Many pieces of the old machinery from the mill are on display here. There is a gas station, restaurant, a couple of shops, a bank and a shrimp truck, what more could one want? Please stop here on your way to/from the beach, take in the history and maybe take a couple of pictures and post them here, mahalo.
