A mystery cache which you have a number of cache locations to choose from.
This cache is located within Morrisons Reserve in Eltham. This park is a part of the Yarra Valley Parklands which is managed by Parks Victoria. The cache run gives you a number of possible cache locations of which you have to find the correct co-ordinates. The most annoying part of this is that we are not going to tell you which of the co-ordinates listed below is correct for this cache! You will have to eliminate cache locations logically!
In January 2013, several of the waypoints were shifted to be less prone to flood damage or vulnerable to park clean up operations.
The published waypoint is the co-ordinates of one of the parking areas for this cache (Although there is also reasonable parking at the end of Reynolds Road) Each of the potential cache locations are within 2 metres of that waypoint, are hidden in easily accessable locations, and with a little searching should be easy to find. If you come across a golf ball or a smiley ball at any of the given locations, you can pretty much guarantee that the cache won’t be there. You will have to keep looking! Please leave the balls in place where you find them. Let us know how many of each you do find.
When you find the cache, I recommend you keep walking along the path and visit the other waypoints as there are some very beautiful spots in this reserve with some really high conservation values.
Sorry but this reserve is not dog-friendly as there are many native critters taking refuge here.
The cache is at one of the following locations. Good Luck!
