One night, farmer John awoke to strange noises coming from outside
his house. The sounds appear to be coming from the direction of his
barn. At the same time, flashes of light lit up the night sky
briefly bathing the world outside in daylight before darkness
quickly consumed it again.
"Rain storm's a-coming," he thought. "I suppose the animals are
spooked."
His trusty old dog sleeping on the floor started to growl. The
canine's gaze was fixated on something above the tree which stood
outside his master's window.
"Quiet boy, not you too. The sun will be rising soon," Farmer John
said as he gazed at the clock sitting on his bedside
nightstand.
As he laid his head back on his pillow trying to catch just a few
more minutes of sleep before his busy day begins, he couldn't help
but notice that the lights flashing outside were not always white.
Instead flashes of blue, red, and green interlaced to awash his
room in a strange, erie glow. A feeling of unrest came over him as
he sat straight up. He swung his feet over the side of his bed and
slipped on his shoes. As he stood up, the lights outside abruptly
stopped. So did the sounds from the barn.
"How strange," he thought as he made his way downstairs to fix
himself some coffee and breakfast. By the time he was done
scrambling his eggs and pouring some food and water into his dog's
food bowl, sunlight was beginning to break through his window. He
sat down at the table eating his eggs and sipping his coffee as he
stared through his kitchen window which looks toward his barn. His
eyes widened as he realized the door to the barn which he had
locked last night was standing wide open. Laying down his coffee
cup, he headed to the side door to race to his barn. He stood
flabbergasted at the entrance to his barn as he noticed all of his
livestock were gone. Even his most prized possession...his cache
cow.
Farmer John turned towards his wheat field to see if maybe his
animals somehow broke free and are now roaming around his land. He
spied none of his animals. Instead, on the hillside where his wheat
crop grows bountifully, he noticed freshly made signs etched into
the high stalks. He's heard about these signs before. His
superstitious neighbors talked about these signs during the recent
farmer's market. They told him that these signs are appearing in
crop fields all over the world. They even said that people believe
these signs are created by aliens from outer space using their UFOs
as a way to communicate messages to the earthlings. What was it
that his neighbors called these things? Oh yes, now he
remembers...Crop Circles.
If you believe that these signs are made from an intelligence out
there then please help Farmer John decipher their messages. He is
convinced that the aliens took his prized possession and hid it.
The signs are clues telling us where to find Farmer John's cache
cow. The crop circles that appeared on Farmer John's farm are
below:

There is only enough room to hold a log so BYOP. Please, do not
over-tighten the container. It makes it a lot harder for the next
cacher to open. Tighten it enough to seal the O-ring. (Oh goodness,
another reference to circles). Oh, Oh...I'm doing it again.
Thanks!
