Geocache Description:

Located at Crabtree Falls. The trail is uphill and rocky in spots. There are many beautiful overlooks at which to stop if you need a breather. There's another entrance at the top of the falls--less difficult terrain and no fee. Pass Crab Tree Falls entrance on left; continue driving roughly 2 miles; take left onto Meadows Lane (dirt road, not maintained); continue until reach parking lot on left (easily seen from road). Restroom facility. Falls are 1 mile from trail head.

This is our first cache placed and it's located at the top of Crabtree Falls. While this is a muggle hot spot, the cache is hidden where you are better able to trade out items without being bothered. Please be sure to cover cache as you found it since it is near a high traffic area. The cache contains an SAS Survival Handbook for the FTF. By the way--you're required to pay $3 for parking at the lower trailhead. Enjoy the hike...it's worth it! ***Special note: Thanks to all of you who have been maintaining this cache when we weren't able to. We appreciate this community so much!! We located the cache on 9/22/13 in a location other than where we initially placed it, and have updated the coordinates.
