Geocache Description:

The following cache is an original Infinity Team hide. It is currently being maintained by P4H. With a few exceptions the cache page remains exactly as Infinity Team had designed it at publishing. Enjoy the fun!

This is a place where owners of travel bugs that have "passed on" may bury and memorialize them. This gets deceased bugs off the cache pages as well as out of the owners' hands; while still maintaining the history, logs, and finds for the bugs. Visitors and mourners alike may come here to visit and read the life stories of bugs that have been laid to rest.

Our travel bugs have traveled the world and back…and unfortunately too many of them “Pass on.” (get lost, get muggled or just go MIA) This can be their final resting place where we will honor them and continue to pay our respects to them.

You may also bury any geocoins here if you wish. They have spent many days and nights with travel bugs…hanging out at various caches, travel bug lodges and hotels. It is only fitting that they be buried together as well.

In this cemetery, re-incarnation can happen. If you have buried a bug here but later decide to attach a copy of the tag to a new bug and release it, simply retrieve your bug from this cache and redeposit it wherever you have chosen for your bug to begin its new life.

This graveyard is also honoring the “Travel Bug Graveyard” in the great state of Kansas created by scooterj. Thank you for your love and devotion to our beloved trackables.

To bury a dead bug here, make sure it is in your inventory and then post a note log here indicating what bug you are burying. When you post your note, select the bug you are burying from the "travelers" dropdown list and it will be deposited here when you post your log. And feel free to give a eulogy in the comments section.

You do not need to actually find the cache to drop off and lay to rest any of your TBs...But like any good cacher...to get that smiley...you do have to actually go to the graveyard. Summer hours are 8:00AM - 7:00PM and Winter hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
