Geocache Description:

Cache Location Information Location - Munnar,hill-station in Kerala,India. Terrain - Mountaneous Level - Moderate Altitude - 1895 meters Scenic View - Picturesque Climate - Cool and Pleasant Accessibility - Tricky People - Humble and Hospitable Local Language - Malayalam Predominant Religion- Christianity and hinduism

Munnar is the most BEAUTIFULL hill-station in India-Truly. The lush green even Tea Gardens, the warm hospitality, the climate, the people and the scenery undoubtedly make it a must visit place for people wanting to take a break from their routine lifestyle. The many Churches and Chapels along the way and the amazing traffic discipline make it look more like an European hill-station.

When you reach the park enterance,You've gotta pay a nominal enterance fee along with some ticket for a camera and the bus transport too. The bus will then take you through a dangerously narrow and curvaceous route to a spot somewhere high on the hill.
WARNING- THIS VENTURE IS NOT ADVISED FOR VERTIGOES or Acrophobic geocachers.
Then on the way you will be shown the highest peak in southern India-Anaimudi-2695 meters. After the bus stops at a point you are free to go for a walk to the top of the hill along where you can see a particular species of deer Nilgiri Tahr there. After that you reach the cache location near the prominent waterfalls there.

I have hidden the cache in the famous Eravikulam National Park situated in Munnar. The amazing location made me hide my cache although I was not a bit prepared for it.

Therefore in haste I was not able to lay my hands on a professional geocaching scroll log paper, instead I put a normal pile of paper scroll torn from my pad. Therefore any inconvenience to the geocacher is deeply regretted.

Also there might be a chance that I placed it in a temporary place so there is a 0.00001% chance of it getting lost. But dont worry, the cache most probably wont be found by the park authority. YOU MIGHT TAKE THIS INFORMATION AS A HINT:)!

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local "cache guardian". Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com

Important: The site remains closed for maintainence purposes starting from February 1 and continuing for 45 days afterward.
