Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

Geocache Description:


Teak Place

This cache was placed as part of The Cradle Caper, an event hosted in the Cradle of Humankind .

The cache is located at an interesting venue offering:

  • Various food options - Restaurant, Bar, Bush Bar and Picnic;

  • Shops - Pet Supplies, Butchery and Deli;

  • Activities - Kiddies Corner, Cycling, Pick a Vegetable, Petting Zoo

We suggest that you either start a day of caching here, or perhaps take a well deserved break during a day of caching.

There is plenty of parking at the venue and the cache is a short walk from the parking area. 

The cache is a nano-like container containing only a log sheet. Since it is located in a high muggle location, the clue is quite detailed - high level of stealth required!!

Remember to bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.
