Geocache Description:

Retired from the Army and decided I needed to place my first multi hide in the small town where I grew up. Should be an easy multi involving a few historical sites around the town.

You will need to do a little simple math to arrive at the final coordinates.
The above coordinates will take you to the Echo Bank, which will serve as the first stage of this multi. Write down the date that the bank was established. You will find it on the left side of the front door.
The bank is now a museum and open Saturday's and Sundays May thru September.
I used to sit on the ledges in front of the windows and eat my lunch as a kid.

The coordinates to the other stages are listed below as waypoints and the info that you need to take note of is posted also.

The second stage is the Echo Masonic lodge. This building was origionally located in Umatilla, OR and moved to the present location by mule teams.

Location # 3 is the local VFW.

Location # 4 is the local Catholic church. When I left for the Army, it was still up and running but does not look like it has held a mass in a long time.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy Echo.

Since the sign is missing for the VFW, here is the number. Post 4943
