On May 18, 2004 I joined Geocaching.com, and found my first
geocache less than a week later on May 22. The rest, as they say,
is history.
I decided that to celebrate the 5 year anniversary week, I'd
have an event here in Kyiv. I know there aren't a lot of geocachers
in the city, but hopefully some of you will be free to come out for
a cup of tea and to say hello.
The location is Trali Vali, about a 5 minute walk from
Respublikansky Stadion. I'll try to get a table in the little room
at the back (turn right when you come in the front door, walk past
the tables facing the street, and the small room is on the left at
the far end). Look for the tall guy with brown hair and a green
Garmin GPS on the table. I'll have a few door prizes to give away
at 3p.m., including an unactivated Ukraine geocoin.
