The cache consists of a regular square lock n lock (large one)
container holding: Logbook, pen, picture of Chili (FTF can tell me
what chili is for a prize), and some small goodies.
The ski trails can be hiked on foot during the late spring,
summer and fall, but are only accessible by cross-country skis in
the winter. The trails are many and cover a total of 52 kms of
varying difficulty.
For a complete map of these trails, visit the Nordic Ski Club's
online pdf map at
http://members.shaw.ca/nordicski/images/EBSTRAILS-routemap01Fg.pdf
A membership to the Nordic Ski Club is not required to hike or
ski the trails but if you do enjoy the trails and are interested in
a membership, see the link below for the Nordic Ski Club.
For those who wish to turn this into a ski-trip , there is a
warm-up shack, benches, and outhouses to use. The trails and
facilities are maintained by club volunteers.
In the winter PLEASE DO NOT HIKE ON THE TRAILS ON FOOT OR
SNOWSHOE as hiking will damage the ski path. As stated on signs at
the location and in the attributes listed above, motorized
vehicles, quads, and snowmobiles are not allowed on the trails.
