Geocache Description:

A micro cache on the Montana - Wyoming boarder

Only a few caches can be found along the high elevation of the Beartooth Highway, and these can be covered in snow during the summer if it was a colder heavy snow year. But this cache should be snow free before the others. As a treat it is located at a nice location wear the Forest Service has placed a pull out and signs marking the boarder between Montana and Wyoming as well as the Shoshone and Custer National Forest. Cache is at an elevation of 10,307 feet. This is a summer cache as the road is closed in the winter. Check conditions before heading out, the road closes due to weather from time to time even during the summer months.
