Geocache Description:

Expect to get muddy on this cache.

This cache is 15 to 20 inches below water under a pile of rocks so it won't float away. If it has been raining for a couple days the swamp could be deeper. Please cover it back up with the rocks the way you found it.
There is off road parking so don't block the gate. Follow the road back until you get past the water on the left then turn left into the woods. There is no trail so you will have to bushwhack in about that far. See my hands???

I could only get 20 feet accuracy today with all the tree cover and clouds. But that should be good enough. The coords above will take you to the edge of the water (SWAMP). There are areas that are marked off with caution tape that have some pretty nasty deep mud that will suck your shoes off. My dog got suck in there and it took me 45 minutes to get her out. Believe it, it's that bad. I don't know what that stuff is floating on the water. I took a sample to get it checked out.

I tested the cache container at the bottom of a 55 gallon rain barrel and it was there all month. It didn't leak. SO TIGHTEN THE CAP !!!!!

Inside the cache attached to the log book are SPECIAL login instructions, if you do not follow the instructions I WILL DELETE your find.

You won't need a snorkel or a mask. It will not help you anyway. The water is too dark. Just hold your breath and grab.

As usual, blaze orange will be required during hunting season.
