Welcome to Pony Girl's Express Letterbox Cache. This letterbox cache can be found in the Hope Goddard Iselin Preserve in Upper Brookville, New York.
The second tribute to my pet horse/pony, nicknamed "Pony Girl", this cache is placed in memory of her. I chose this spot because she loved the remote woods. And this one fit the bill!
I'd been searching for a stamp for sometime to create and place a cache such as this and I had forgotten that I had a stamp in one of my "junk" drawers all along. And it fits the theme! Inside you will find a logbook for your stamp, a stamp and inkpad to stamp your own logbooks, a couple of trickets for trades and a couple of TBS.
There is a parking lot right at the entrance to the Preserve. The cache is about 20 paces from the trail to the right of the kiosk. Head in a southwesterly direction. There is some Poison ivy and briars in the area. So, be prepared.
If you haven't already picked up "The Great Depression" ( GCK3M7), now there is another excuse to go get it!
